Here at Letterpress PLAY, our talented production team has been repurposing our misprinted paper goods into recycled, handmade paper! Scroll down below to explore the process up-close, step-by-step. 

To create the paper, our team begins by breaking down misprinted paper goods and soaking them in water. Next, the paper is blended into a pulp that is suspended in water.

A screen is used to capture the fibers of the paper while draining out excess water. 

Our team then transfers the paper onto Pellon and uses a sponge to gently absorb any remaining moisture.

Lastly, the sheets are set out to dry, revealing beautiful and vibrant pieces.

Every sheet created carries a story of upcycling, care, and creativity and gives our paper goods a second life!
