Here at Letterpress PLAY, we aim to encourage sustainable choices. This can be seen in the intentionality behind all of the pieces we create, including our newest Upcycled Letterpress Christmas Ornaments. 

Our ornaments are created by upcycling beautiful Oblation Paper, which is then letterpress-printed with our two ornament designs— the Cardinal and the Cowboy Boot. 

Lastly, our ornaments are taken to our manufacturing friends at CoffeeSock, right here in Austin, Texas, where our production artists die cut them into their circular shape. Die cutting involves using a shaped blade to cut through paper on a die cutting press. This process was introduced at the height of the Industrial Revolution and has continued to be used for various projects ever since.
